Michael Arndt,

Director

Michael Arndt is a graduate of Millersville University. He graduated in 1999 with a Bachelor's in Secondary Education in Social Studies. He was also a graduate of the Urban Education Program. After college, Michael was employed by the YMCA of Reading in Berks County first as the Youth Director and then as the Associate Executive where he ran day camp programs, youth sports, and worked with child care centers. After leaving the YMCA, Michael was employed as a Substitute Teacher for Muhlenberg School District and he also was the Director of the Muhlenberg Summer Day Camp Program for Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. He was also the Youth and Christian Education Director at Good Sheperd. He became the Director of Christ Church Children's Center in September of 2012. Besides being Director at our center, Michael is actively involved in many other things in the Berks County Community. In his "spare" time, he works as the Director of Muhlenberg Middle School's Musicals. In his free time, Michael likes to travel, cheer for the Phillies, and work with kids in musical theater. He is married to the love of his life, Beverly. They have a dog named Indy.
