Michael Arndt, Director

Michael Arndt, a 1999 graduate of Millersville University with a Bachelor’s in Secondary Education (Social Studies), also completed the Urban Education Program. His career in youth and community programs began at the YMCA of Reading in Berks County, where he served as Youth Director and later as Associate Executive, overseeing day camps, youth sports, and childcare services. Following his time with the YMCA, Michael worked as a Substitute Teacher for the Muhlenberg School District and directed the Muhlenberg Summer Day Camp at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, where he was also the Youth and Christian Education Director.

Since joining Christ Church Children's Center in 2012, Michael has brought his passion for education and youth development to his role as Director. In addition to his work here, he remains active in the Berks County community, including serving as the Director for Muhlenberg School District's High School and Junior High Musical.

Outside of work, Michael enjoys traveling, cheering on the Phillies, and supporting youth in musical theater. He is married to his wife, Beverly, and they share their home with their children, Zeke and Pippa.
